What we do
Food & Nutrition
The Esperanza Community Center partners with other nonprofits in the community to distribute food on an as available basis to residents in the Northwood area who are in need of food for themselves and/or their families. Esperanza continues to monitor for these opportunities, most of which occur during times of emergency. When we have access to food for distribution, we will publicize this on our Facebook page and website, so check back regularly.
The Esperanza Center adjusts our food distribution methods to match the food availability, current needs in the community, and the stipulations of partnering organizations. This is a “spot” service and is currently not available on an ongoing basis.
We welcome food and financial contributions to support growing our food distribution program. The need is great. Please contact us at (561) 560-3558 to discuss how we may work together to meet the food and nutrition needs of residents in the Northwood Community.
